We invite you to attend auctions at our Boston gallery where you may register to bid in person and participate in the live auction experience. However, if you are not able to join us in person, we offer several alternate bidding options.
Absentee bids may be placed through our website by first creating an online account. Each bid is electronically recorded by the date and time it is received. Once the bid is processed by our office, you will receive a confirmation email. All bids are handled in a confidential and professional manner. The deadline for absentee bids left through our website is 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. On the day of the auction, the auctioneer will execute your bid up to your specified amount.
Telephone bid requests may be placed through our website by first creating an online account. Telephone lines are limited and therefore are reserved for clients who are planning to bid above the low estimate on a lot. Once the bid is accepted by our office, you will receive a confirmation email. The deadline for telephone bids left through our website is 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. On the day of the sale, one of our experienced telephone bidding agents will call you several minutes prior to the sale of your lot.
Live Internet Bidding
Live internet bidding is available through Invaluable, Bidsquare, LiveAuctioneers.
These are third party bidding platforms and Grogan & Company is not responsible for any errors that may occur during live internet bidding. Please note that Invaluable and LiveAuctioneers charge an additional 5% buyer's premium and Bidsquare charges an additional 3% buyer's premium.
